10×306” acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas
12 x 16” acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas
Driving I‑55, I spotted little Cajun cabins only reachable by boat. I imagined hopping into a skiff, sitting on a sagging porch, eating jambalaya while Louisiana music drifted by. I painted that slow, sultry moment of these old weathered Louisiana camps, and the whole scene mirrored in the water. The soft, shimmering reflections carry the music and memory across the bayou. Playful brushwork and bright color invite you to pause, taste, listen, and stay.
