If you are outside of the US, please use the contact form on the home page or scroll down to contact me and I can put the artwork on a hold so we can discuss since shipping is very expensive. Part of the series from the photos I took when I lived in the French Quarter. This man seemed to be at every event from festivals to this secondline. Always wearing a Hawaiian or Jazz Fest shirt and a decorated umbrella and a drink in hand! I loved the peace signs and buttons on his umbrellas just dancing along with the second line with his happy hour drink, which is really all day!

Back in summer 2006, when I was living in the French Quarter walking around and took several photos of this Sunday Secondline of the New Orleans Baby Dolls (and others that are paintings too). The music from the brass bands, the dancing and strutting. People watching and dancing along with them as they stroll through the French Quarter. This is a normal Sunday in New Orleans.

I saw this while walking the dogs Uptown in New Orleans on Henry Clay Avenue. The leftover Mardi Gras beads from a parade a couple months before almost blend into the magnolia and jasmine flowers leaving just a reminder.
